Hello, I am a normal guy who loves a project. The lack of existing information on this process as a whole led me to start this blog. I have seen bits and pieces of this information on different Forums and websites all over the web, but nothing with everything all in one place. So this is my attempt to centralize all the information in one place. I have some mechanical background (mostly cars), but I don't have a gigantic shop out back with all kinds of exotic tools. This is an attempt to show a quality at home mercury outboard restoration that most people could reproduce successfully.
